Polar bear cub “Yuki”




Name: polar bear cub “Yuki”
Edition: one of a kind
Size: 34 cm sitting, weight 1,7 kg
Used materials: soft, extra dense alpaca in white color
Eyes: taxidermy glass eyes with movable upper eyelids and leather fest lower eyelids
Nose: hand sculpted from epoxy clay and hand painted by me
Claws: hand sculpted and carved by me from epoxy clay, inset and very strong

Mouth: Leather mouth (with tongue and teeth), which can be opened or closed
Joints: -way jointed with disks, lock nuts, and bolts; has very flexible neck with lock line spine inside. He has flexible arms and legs with lock line inside for many realistic posing possibilities
Paw pads: leather paw pads along with thread sculpting and hand shading
Filling:  “Yuki” is softly (but no way floppy) stuffed, that makes him very fun to pose and play with
Used techniques: sewing, felting, open-close eyes, open-close mouth
More detail: completely designed and handmade by me, Vero Heck. “Yuki” has moveable upper eyelids, and can be posed awake or sleeping, therefore he looks so lifelike and beautiful, and has so kind expression. He has been designed to sit, stay on his fourth or lay in a many realistic poses
